How to Soften Towels

The towel at home becomes hard after being used for a long time, just like a bath towel. Generally, the towel is used for this one. Many people just replace it with a new one and use the old one as a rag. But sometimes they are reluctant to throw it away or use it for other purposes.
Then you can try the following trick to make your hedgehog-like towel soft.

1. Pour the first and second washes of rice water into the pot, then put the face towel in and boil it, boil it for a while and then clean the rice soup. After this treatment, the towel will turn white, and there will be a light rice fragrance.

2. Put the towel in the hot water of the washing liquid, boil or scald for 5 minutes, and then clean it while it is hot.

3. Use soap, washing powder or lye to boil the face towel for a few minutes at intervals to prevent hardening. When boiling, the towel should be completely immersed in water to avoid oxidation in contact with air and change the color. Then rinse with clean water and warm water in turn, and dry in a ventilated place. After drying, the towel will regain softness. It should be reminded that towels should not be exposed to the sun for a long time, and should be dried naturally in a ventilated place.

4. Boil the towel with boiling water for about 10 minutes, then wash it with soap, and then wash it thoroughly with water. Finally, fold the towel and put it in the microwave oven and heat it for 5 minutes.

5. Put the towel in a 1:4 vinegar solution, do not use too much water, just spread it over the towel. After soaking for 5 minutes, scrub again, and then rinse with clean water to restore the softness of the towel.
